Organic Livity Brick Lane - East London

I purchased a couple of cakes from their stall in the Boilerhouse—one to enjoy right away and one for later. They were absolutely delicious, artisan cakes, and they also offer raw and sugar-free options!

The portions were relatively small, but in the end, we felt satisfied. The set menu offered a starter, a main dish, and rice for just £6.50, which was a great deal. The staff were very helpful and friendly, even though it was the end of lunch service and they appeared a bit tired. Regardless, they made sure to accommodate our needs. The restaurant was clean and one of the most affordable options on the street.

I'm giving this a 5-star rating because I've really enjoyed their vegan macaroons in the past. However, I searched for them all over Brick Lane this week and couldn't find them anywhere. Their website doesn't mention this location, so I suspect it's an outdated listing. It seems you can still order online (which I plan to do), but I think this listing should either be removed or updated to reflect their online store. I've submitted a request for an update for now.

Eating was really nice, eating was too expensive. we were told we could have a discount of 25% on the final bill, but the workers made an excuse for why they wouldn't. I asked if we could have free popadomen instead and they would allow that.
