The scallops are incredibly sweet, almost like sugar cubes, and the clams are absolutely delicious. I took off one star because the lobster roll didn’t quite meet my expectations. We ordered the famous lobster roll with fries and a clam basket. The lobster roll is huge—enough to feed two people, especially when paired with the fries. We noticed many customers opting for takeout, but we chose to eat there and took the leftovers home instead. The clam basket was fantastic—whole belly clams that were lightly fried and incredibly fresh and delicious! These were my favorite, particularly since it’s rare to find such high-quality whole belly clams. I do wish they offered cocktail sauce, but honestly, it wasn't missed. We also ordered onion straws with the clam basket, and if I lived nearby, I would make it a weekly habit to have them—they're so good and light! For everything, plus two drinks and a 20% tip, our total came to $65. Considering we could have easily made four meals out of what we ordered if we weren’t just passing through, it was an amazing deal! We visit New England every year, and Captain Jack's is already on our list of places to return to.

Excellent service and incredible food! The lobster roll is massive, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The fish and chips are fantastic as well. I particularly love the shoe-string fries and onion rings—they're perfectly crispy!
