Mia Italian Kitchen Morningside

We went to the restaurant for an early dinner on a weekday evening. It was quite busy but not completely full, and the service was quick. We ordered starters and mains, except for one friend who chose a starter as their main, which the waiter happily accommodated. The starters were decent, and the mussels were particularly good value with a nice sauce. However, both my wife and I were disappointed with the special pork loin dish we ordered for our mains. The meat was tough and difficult to eat, leading my wife to give up after a few bites. When she mentioned this to the waiter, he simply laughed and walked away. When it came time to pay, my wife mentioned again that she couldn't eat the pork due to its toughness, and the server apologized but offered no further resolution. Overall, we were not satisfied with the customer service and feel that in such situations, it's best to insist on a change in the food immediately.

Hi. I thought the food was good and the atmosphere was also good. BUT. We both ordered a large glass of wine. Our wine came back in a smallish glass of wine. Certainly not a large one!! I felt ripped off!

The best food always busy try to book or u maybe disappointed Inexpensive lunch menu Very good service Plus take away when fully booked we ordered a take out , walked up the rd took the food back to our room even home made soup with bread it is amazing don’t miss out

Found this place by accident, we were just wandering around Edinburgh for the day. The staff were excellent, very polite and friendly My wife had minestrone soup as a starter(said it was as good as mine,so MUST have been rather good

Good food, friendly staff… we didn’t book and we had a good service and romantic night with my wife.
