Rollo Broughton - Edinburgh, City of

We were in Edinburgh for a short break, with friends. Having been to this restaurant before and enjoyed it, we booked again and were not disappointed. The food and the service was excellent, good variety of choices on a small well designed menu. One of our friends had a prawn allergy and the staff went out of their way to make sure there was no problems. The restaurant has a cosy intimate feel to it. A really enjoyable night. We will be back.

I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant, I have dined here before. However, on this visit I was disappointed to find that there were no vegan starters available and only one vegan main dish. Even the olives contained anchovies! Despite this, the restaurant is still a nice place to eat and the service was excellent.

Pre theatre visit. Staff could not have been more helpful to accommodate our needs. One was dairy free and a separate menu was ready and waiting with a sumptuous selection of food. A marvellous place with wonderful staff and delicious food.

The dinner was excellent and delicious. My son and I ordered different appetizers and entrees, all of which were very good. The environment was cool and the service was friendly. We will definitely come back again.

This restaurant is located conveniently in the city center and offers excellent food, a wide variety of wine and spirits, and attentive staff. Great spot!
