I reassured her that she didn't need to worry about the quality, and thankfully, I was right! Everyone absolutely loved the food—at least 15 people asked where it came from and how to find them, and I had no hesitation in sharing the details. I ordered garlic butter rice, Caribbean peas and rice, jerk chicken, BBQ chipotle chicken (with and without the sauce on the side), award-winning mac and cheese, cornbread, and of course, the peach cobbler. A friend of mine enthusiastically exclaimed that with every new dish she tried, her reaction of "OMG, this is amazing!" grew even more intense. I highly recommend you check out their Instagram page to keep up with the food truck's location—trust me, you won’t be disappointed! The portions are generous, and the flavors are incredibly rich. This is coming from someone who used to have a very basic palate as a kid! But in all seriousness, the food is outstanding, and the owner is incredibly responsive, ensuring that every order is just right. Chef’s kiss!

I don't care if this is a Black-owned business; I believe that reviews shouldn't be influenced by the owner's background. Yelp's emphasis on skin color in reviews is not how I choose to evaluate a restaurant.

I advise you not to visit this place. The restaurant is no longer open at this location. They have transformed the space into a ghost kitchen, renting it out to various small food businesses. I hope the restaurant updates their status to reflect that they are closed very soon.

I had the Spicy J Chicken Rice Bowl. It was delicious and the J seasoning was on point. However, the chicken was dry and the Garlic Butter rice should just be called Butter rice. NOW!!!! THE MAC CHEESE WAS THE BOMB!!!! Loved the service and the portion size for the money. I would definitely eat again at this restaurant. Thank you for your service.....

Wow. This food tasted great! They need to come up with a new term, because this beats normal takeout and most casual sit downs food by miles. I will caution you, if you pick up, make sure you know you are going before getting into the car and pay attention to the address . But that little quirk is nothing in comparison to what you are bringing home. When the door opened, the best cooking smell I could ever remember was my greeter. I knew from that point this would be good. Finally got home and unpacked the food, which was thoughtfully packed. J chicken was amazing. I've tried to make this at home so many times, but nothing close to the degree here. Chicken was prepared well and the j seasoning was great. The only thing missing was being on a Jamaican beach with the grill (they use a specific wood) burning. Also for the timid, it is not overly spicy! Just Great flavor! The Mac and cheese by far was one of the best I've had from any restaurant. Cheesy, yet the pasta still kept up, Not anywhere close to those big globs of stuff you bring from other places. Finished off with bread pudding. Also very well prepared. Nice and rich and not overly sweet. After the meal, the first thing I did was go back to the menu to see what I was going to order next time! Yes, you need to seek this this place out if you love chicken and Mac and cheese! Definitely coming back for more!
