Visiting Chicagoland and wanting to try Bulgarian food, we came here, and are so glad we did. The menu is huge, so we asked our waiter Ivo for suggestions. He asked us what we like and came through with great ideas. From the Bulgarian beer, to the fried cheese with jam starter, to the combo grill and ending with the fig cake, everything was excellent. Just an all around fantastic experience.

Starting with the ambiance of the restaurant, I felt like I was in Bulgaria already. The Bulgarian radio, the decor, the rakiya, the people— I thought I was back home. The food was very authentic and delicious. We ordered the mixed grill and its definitely enough for 2 people it was very large portions. It’s best to order it with the spicy baked goat cheese! The homemade cake they have is nostalgic and it’s something my grandmother would make for us as kids. Everything to the last detail was authentic and the owner was so kind to us. It felt like all of us were family already. I would definitely come here again. Best restaurant in Chicago!

Went there with my two kids and my parents and had an amazing experience. Food is exactly what I expected, amazing! Even for my ten and twelve year old, they were able to find something on the menu.Especially for picky eaters. Ambiance was unique and made me feel like I was back in the old country.
