Cafe Imbizo - Fareham

Nice atmosphere, community style café offering a good range of lunch items at reasonable prices. Tried the butternut squash soup which was delicious.

I've been in a couple of times, most recently in July and it's a very friendly place with a nice atmosphere and very good coffee. I'll definitely be coming back, and next time I'll try the food.

Never visited before . Stopped in for a light lunch. Comprehensive menu . Asked at the counter what was in the Chef's salad.The young woman shouted over me to a gentleman sitting on the sofa at the rear of the cafe She meaning...me !)wants to know what's in a Chef salad . Very rude. I hope this woman doesn't usually serve customers . If she does she needs some customer training. The gent came over and explained about the salad. It was delicious- mixed leaves, toms, cucumber, olives, gherkins and ribbons of beetroot.with a huge pile of pesto coated chicken. Couldn't eat it all. Will go back another time to try something else. Please help the counter assistant to become more polished in dealing with the public. She was shouting to her colleague about drinks in the chiller cabinet whilst I was eating then later took a personal phone call speaking very loudly. On leaving she called me my sweet'. Hey ho.

Any cafe that has a giraffe on the front of the menu is OK by me. iMBIZO is African themed, but having said that, the menu, whilst wide ranging, covers the usual suspects such as Toasties, Paninis etc. Welcoming, with comfortable seating. On the day...I visited, a steady flow of customers came through the door, a good sign in an area where there are a number of eating choices. The Coffee was good.

Myself and friends visited cafe imbizo for coffees. Firstly they got cost wrong, then it took mins to bring us the wrong drinks and then another to bring us right ones and my friend accepted wrong drink as she couldn't wait...any longer. When we asked for chocolate on our cappuccino we were told no we don't do that here. All this while we were the only people in there and there at least staff. Now I'm not surprised we were only people.
