Redwood Steakhouse Brewery - Flint

Delicious! I absolutely loved the filet; the brie was incredible. We considered ordering the nachos but thought it might be too much food. However, when we saw other tables getting them, we regretted not ordering them as they looked huge and delicious. So, next time, we’ll definitely give them a try. That was the largest plate of nachos I’ve ever seen, so I’m sure we’ll have leftovers next time, too. I haven't had a bad meal here yet; everything has been tasty each time I've visited, and our server was very friendly and got all our orders right.

I had dinner and a beer flight here with my brother and son. We were seated promptly right after opening at 4 PM. I ordered the filet Oscar, which came with mashed potatoes and the Redwood salad. The salad was unique, and I opted for ranch dressing on the side, though I wish it had been served a bit colder. The filets were 4 ounces each, and while both were tasty, one was noticeably more tender than the other. The crab cakes were flavorful but a bit thin. Given the price, I felt they should offer a baked potato in addition to the mashed potatoes. Overall, the meal was quite good. The beer flight consisted of six 6-ounce samples, and the prices varied depending on the type of beer. Most were average, but two stood out as particularly good. My brother enjoyed his fish and chips, and my son said his burger was tasty. The restaurant features a spacious parking lot with a lodge theme, as well as flat top and bar seating. They use cloth napkins and provided excellent service. While the entrees were very good, I didn't find them to be excellent, which is essential at this price point to encourage repeat business. Given the prices, I might not return.

I ordered takeout for the first time here today during lunch. The woman at the counter was extremely rude. I got the Quesadillas, which cost $17.00 for just meat, cheese, and bread. There was maybe one green onion inside the entire dish. They also forgot to pack the sour cream and salsa. It felt like a rip-off.

The food and service were both excellent. We've visited this restaurant several times, and it never fails to impress. It's a great place for a nice, upscale dinner. They also offer sushi, which is fantastic!

The food and service were outstanding! I ordered the demonico steak accompanied by wild mushroom risotto, and it was perfect! My fiancé had the pork osso bucco, which was tender and fell right off the bone. For our appetizer, we had calamari fritti—truly the best calamari I've ever had!
