Freddy's Frozen Custard Steakburgers

I didn’t notice anything particularly special about the meat. My burger came with long, flat pickles, but they weren’t crispy at all. I ended up leaving the burger uneaten. The small fries they serve are okay for a little while, but they quickly become cold and hard. To make matters worse, I forgot to ask for the complimentary ice cream treat. I was informed that I would need to place another order to receive the free treat. So, after spending over $10, I was expected to order again just to claim the treat? That doesn’t sit well with me. Overall, I was hoping for something different from the typical drive-thru experience, but it felt just like any other fast-food restaurant, complete with staff who seemed unmotivated.

The exterior of the restaurant looked clean at night, but we opted for the drive-thru. The cashier was courteous. Our food arrived hot, but it was excessively greasy. It tasted like it had been prepped earlier and then quickly fried to reheat. Unfortunately, all four of us ended up feeling ill. It had been some time since our last visit, and it seems that the quality of food preparation has declined, or perhaps there are issues with management. It's disappointing to see what was once a fun family restaurant in Florence going downhill. We stopped by for dinner around 6:30 PM.

I would describe Freddy's as a blend of Five Guys’ decor and Steak 'n Shake’s burger style. While I didn’t get to sample the custard during this visit, the jalapeño steak burger was amazing. I'm excited to finally indulge in tasty burgers and thin fries again since I haven't been able to enjoy them since moving from Ohio, as there isn’t a Steak 'n Shake in Florence. This new restaurant is a convenient option, and I can’t wait to come back. The staff was friendly, and our food came out quickly. The highlight of the meal was definitely the fry sauce, with the spicy version being my personal favorite. On my next visit, I plan to try one of their hot dogs and some custard. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Quick and tasty! It's a bit on the expensive side, but the convenience of the location makes it worthwhile.

The food was great, and the staff were friendly. While it's somewhat expensive, I believe it's worth it. I would definitely go back.
