We dined here twice during our short stay in Frankfurt as the food was really delicious and value-for-money. We tried their tofu, vegetables and meat dishes with rice, all of which tasted great. Service was quick and efficient, and the staff were polite and friendly. Toilets were clean, and though the restaurant size is small, it was not cramped and still felt cosy enough. A very satisfying dining experience so near to the main train station (Hauptbahnhof). Lots of Chinese dine here too, so you know you're eating authentic Chinese food (I believe the owners or chefs are Malaysians). Will definitely come back again.
So, the place is a hole-in-the-wall but the food is tasty and the prices reasonable. The beef in black bean sauce was full of flavour. Plenty of Chinese customers (always a good sign for authenticity). There are two menus, one for Western tastes and one for Chinese so you can pick according to your level of comfort/adventurousness. Great for a quick bite; not really the environment for lingering.
Last night in Frankfurt after almost 3 weeks of travel, we discovered this little gem. Vancouver has so much Chinese food, so this made us feel right at home! :) The food was very good, great value and we really enjoyed it!
