Miller's Ale House - Franklin

I went to this restaurant with my staff at 22:30. I checked the menu before, so I'd already have an idea of what I wanted to order. I was honestly not impressed, but I decided to order the fish chips. Instead of Fritten, I wanted a baked potato. I came to the restaurant after my staff. The hostess at the door was very nice. Our waitress was not. I sat at the table about 10-15 minutes before she finally came by and asked what I wanted to drink. The rest of the time she wasn't the most beautiful person. When it was time to order, I was told that they don't serve baked potatoes until 4:00. I've eaten in thousands of restaurants and I've never been told before. I was very disappointed. I chose the Mac box for my side. Waiting for the food was not long, so if you decided to check this place for lunch, that is a positive thing. As far as my food is concerned, the fish was evil. It wasn't seasoned. Like the macaroni. There were no spices and hardly any cheese. I doubt I would try this restaurant again.

The first visit was great. The waiter was on point, the food cooks was on point. We order the loaded fries/strips, fish chips half rack of ribs. The prices are reasonable. The rum drink I ordered was not as good as I hoped. The second night the waiter was good, but the food was average. We order the 6 oz steak medium well and the Philly sandwich. That steak was the toughest steak I've ever tasted. There was no flavor, it was just super dry chewy meat. The Philly was ok.

That was a first date. We sat at the bar and could talk without screaming. The bartender was ingenious considering that she was blackened and the only one who worked the bar and dealing with rude people who had claimed. Apart from that, the food was good, drinks were brilliant and my date was excellent!

Not quite sure how this place has about 2 stars. I don't enjoy Bashing restaurants because everyone works in the facility to make a life. But this institution needs a change of recipes and attitude, no one enjoys work, but it does not hurt to put on an act and force a smile. At the place next to the food was terrible my table had ordered 2 plates hot wings, apart from them mild, they were simply not good, another person on our table ordered mild wings and got exceptionally hot, they could not finish their dish. Another guest we had fed with us ordered a ravioli dish and not even eat two of it because the cheese filling it had was gritty and old and she wasn't the only one who thought so after we tried it, we all agreed that it was old or expired. In summary, this experience was nothing less disappointing, especially if we were issued the check that was over $100 for 5 people only falling when we opened the checkbook to see the overall score, this review would not write if the host had smiled or the wings were hot.

My first time here and it wasn?t pleasant..first off the customer service was the worst ever?i?ve never felt so uncomfortable at a restaurant..and trust me i understand when people have bad days but for the waitress to be rude to me and my friend and then change her mood completely with the table next to us?like ummm nooo and then the food was dry and bland couldn?t even finish it, they messed up my friends fajita order twice..i honestly don?t recommend this place at all. Our server name was Carol , she was honestly really rude and was only nice when her supervisor was around her. Don?t waste your time coming here.
