The food was decent, but it was quite salty, and the chorizo had an unusual taste, possibly due to some tomato paste mixed in. The prices were also on the higher side. The service was inconsistent; we didn't receive any drink refills, but the staff kindly moved us indoors when yellowjackets kept crawling on our food. Overall, it was a dine-in dinner experience.

I've been a fan of Campeche for lunch, dinner, and drinks for years. The service has always been friendly and prompt, and the food and atmosphere have consistently been fantastic. With Eric Lopez now in charge, there are even more reasons to love this place. For instance, CARNITAS is now featured throughout the menu. And I’m not just referring to any carnitas; these are some of the most flavorful and tender I've ever had. The new patio is a wonderful addition as well. And to top it all off, the margaritas are still AMAZING, coming incredibly close to perfection—making them worthy competition for Rick Bayless in Illinois!

It’s amazing and authentic Mexican food in Galina, IL even two time had in Chicago but not as authentic Mexican here. Alexa was our attendant was so nice and her choice of selections we enjoyed!!
