Rouge - Galway

Good food and wine from a limited menu. Very friendly service. The resident pianist added greatly to the ambience. Will certainly be returning.

Really good food, very limited menu, but great quality. Choice of 3 dishes. Fish, steak, vegetarian.

Rouge is always great. I hadnt been since pre pandemic and they have made some changes to the decor but have maintained the romantic cosy feel. Amuse bouche were lovely and the steak was cooked perfectly. The creme brulee was nice but maybe too big a portion . Twice i went to the bathroom and the first time i had to alert a staff member to put in toilet roll and the second time the whole floor was flooded like the toilet overflowed after flushing.

The food was amazing, staff were friendly and it was a very romantic evening. It was my wife's birthday and they got the piano player to play happy birthday and a candle on the chocolate dessert. Very special and definitely would recommend it.
