Jhonny's Mexican Cuisine - Garland

We ordered takeout and everything was incredibly delicious. I can't wait to dine in next time!

The food and service were absolutely fantastic! The guacamole was delicious and definitely tasted fresh. My wife and I ordered chimichangas—she had the chicken fajita while my mother-in-law and I both went for the ground beef chimichangas. They were full of flavor and fried to perfection. Our son chose the fajitas and said the steak was excellent. Everything was wonderful, and we will definitely be returning... hopefully soon!

We visited Jhonny's and as soon as we walked in, the music was really loud. I asked the lady about it, and she told me it was just a cleaning product. I ordered a taco salad, which had about 12 small pieces of chicken. The rest of the dish consisted mostly of beans and some head lettuce. The soda was flat. I would give it five stars, but I have to mention that the fish taco was disappointing—it just wasn't good.

I was a bit surprised when I went in, I was the only one who could eat there. Nice Mexican restaurant, had Spanish music in the background and a few TVs on no sound. Mary, the waitress brought me to a table and brought me my tea and water. While I read about the menu, she also brought chips and salsa and this Great Jalapeño Salsa . Lunch today was Fajita Tacos with rice and beans. The tacos were very good and very good. Rice was very fluffy and the black beans were also very delicious. I need to add JHonnys to my list of places that eat on this site of Garland.

Where is a 6th Star when you need one! Seriously one of my favorite restaurants! EVERY time we come the food is amazing no matter the time of day or the day of the week! It's cooked fresh, served hot, and so flavorful you do a little dance with every bite! My favorite is the salmon with mushrooms vegetables. Normally I don't like paying for salmon at restaurants because it's often over priced, but this baby is worth every penny! The veggies are cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. The salmon is cooked to a nice flaky finish and the sauce they serve with it is unlike anything I've ever had. I could eat the veggies that sauce ONLY and still feel like I got my money's worth.
