Himalayan Inn - Gedling

We have visited the Himalayan in Arnold many times and have always loved the food and found the service excellent. Last night we ate in their new restaurant in Bingham. A beautiful, small space with lots of character and a very warm, friendly welcome and service. Food and drinks were excellent, thank you.

Visited for the first time last night and this place did not disappoint. We were running ten minutes late and a quick call to let them know was not an issue. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Big smiles and couldn’t do enough for you. The food was so so good! If I was to suggest anything, maybe a touch of background music and some mooded lighting but that really is just me being really picky. A wonderful place, thank you very much!

Very clean, crisp white tablecloths changed every sitting. Staff very attentive and polite. Food is absolutely wonderful, what more could you ask for!

Regular customers of the restaurant on our recommendation a take away for 4 was ordered for a meal with friends. Has to be one of the most bland and uninteresting meals we have ever tasted. 3 different main courses ordered all of which tasted the exact same to all of us and an overwhelming taste of tomato soup for them all. Culminated in one of the party having sickness diarrhoea 2hrs post consumption. Worth noting that an email was written and sent the following morning advising the restaurant of our disappointment in the meal, nearly 4wks later now and still no response.

Went on spec to the restaurant for an eat in meal, owner always finds room, excellent food thoroughly enjoyed it. Food tasty and perfectly seasoned
