Le Fournil French Bakery - Geelong West

My wife and I love this bakery, the coffee is always decent, but we go there for the pastry. They are just fantastic. The only problem is that you have to reach early before you are sold out. Otherwise, a must in Geelong See, just come before 3 to avoid disappointment

Great patisserie and bakery. They make excellent croissants, pain au chocolate, almond counter, etc. I agree with another reviewer that your excellent baked products with reasonable coffee or ambience are not sufficiently supported. But while I do not recommend it for a sitting meal, the food is still great. Grief I just wish you would be open more often.

Stumbled across this little bakery and happy we did. Looking for a coffee and snack to warm us up on a cold day and we were happy to find this place. We all ordered a coffee and an almond croissant - and oh my!! The croissant was divine, not too sweet and very tasty. Coffee was good too. Not a large area to sit and a bit squashed but was still lovely. Would be good to see the interior updated and maybe a couch to lounge on whilst you sip your coffee and snack on the delicious treats they have to offer. Will definitely be back next time we are in Geelong.

We visited with our kids - the chocolate eclair, vanilla slice and croissant were all delicious. Apparently the coffee was very good. I didn't give it another excellent rating as my chocolate milkshake was too warm and over blended/aerated, and I think they could improve the cafe interior. On the whole, this is a great little cafe and the French pastries are wonderful.

It is very hard to choose what to pick because there is such a great variety of delicious cakes. We usually choose a variety of small pastries and take away. Lemon tart, strawberry tarts, eclairs, vanilla slice are all very delicious!
