Outstanding cuisine and hospitality. I’ve travelled all over Umbria and Tuscany and eaten in hundreds of trattorias,osterie and ristorante and Da Maria rates highly considering the price. Pasta with truffles was subtle not overpowering and ravioli with walnut sauce savory. Pork with frutti di bosco sauce was as good as I’ve had, with fresh berries such as blackberries, currants, raspberries and more. The meat was first seared then cooked and lean and tender. Cuts of beef with arugula and cheese plentiful and not chewy. Even simple bread assorted with cheese sticks, crusty white, wheat and more. Very tasty house wine Rosso by the bottle not a carafe like many restaurants and only 12 euro. Desserts are all made in house and tasty I had a crema Catalan with fresh fruit to die for, and the chocolate taste wonderful as well Do yourself a favor and go after visiting the nearby Frasassi Caves.

If you're going to the Grotte di Frasassi you should definitely factor this place in. You will not regret it. It was our best meal of the week, and we had many good meals! Totally delicious food in a warm, friendly and traditional atmosphere.

We came to see the Grotte di Frasassi but were sidetracked with the need for a good lunch, we ate at Da Maria are we were not disappointed. The staff member that served us spoke great English and helped us with our choices. I would certainly visit here again, maybe next time see the caves too. an awesome culinary delight. thank you

It is near grotte di frassassi, you can go by car but it is really worth it. Restaurant has terrace, panoramic place and inside . Food is delicious and worth of money.
