I tried the twist cone, which was a delightful mix of prickly pear and vanilla. I would definitely return just for the ice cream!
I enjoyed the topo loco and elote, both of which were excellent! The service is walk-up, and the menu is straightforward. There’s outdoor seating available as well. I definitely want to return to try the ice cream. The topo makes for a perfect, delicious option if you want to avoid waiting an hour for overpriced food on a weekend night.
Charming little restaurant with a fun vibe that's definitely worth a visit. I tried the Topo Loco burrito with chicken and really enjoyed the spice and the crunch from the Fritos. It's large enough to share, especially if you're planning to indulge in some ice cream afterwards. I also sampled the soft serve prickly pear ice cream. While it has an interesting flavor, I didn't quite fall in love with it. Looking back, I think I should have opted for a twist with vanilla to balance out the distinctive taste of the prickly pear.
The prickly pear ice cream was absolutely delicious! We were also really thankful that we were permitted to sit in the patio next door to escape the heat.
The Chicken Topo Loco burrito is the best burrito I've ever had! It's mainly a takeout place since it’s basically a booth restaurant, but there are some pleasant outdoor tables if you don’t mind the Arizona weather. The prickly pear ice cream was also a fun treat! I recommend trying it with the lime dip. It made for a fantastic date night!
