Ginesi's Ice-cream - Glasgow City

The flavors at this restaurant are too subtle and the textures are not the best. The younger server was friendly, but the older woman had a terrible attitude, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. The owner's insistence on cash-only payments is strange in this day and age - it's 2023, they should consider getting a card machine like many other small businesses. Overall, this restaurant falls short of the standards set by Nowita or La Gelatessa.

I have been a loyal customer of Queens Park cafe for many years, even traveling from Kilmarnock for the past 6 years. In my opinion, it is truly the best ice cream I have ever tried. Forget Italy or Vatican City, this place is hands down the best!

To begin, I am a huge fan of ice cream and gelato. I had never heard of Ginesi's until I discovered it online. Their gelato is amazing. I visited this week and was impressed by the variety of flavors they offer for such a small shop – around 20 in total. I tried the vanilla, which was delicious. The banana gelato was good, but the almond gelato was truly exceptional. If you're in search of high-quality gelato in Glasgow, I highly recommend giving Ginesi's a try – you won't be disappointed.

I was visiting Glasgow for the first time in a long time and I was longing for some traditional Italian milk ice. I found these guys on Google. I checked Uber eats and Deliveroo but they weren't on there. Weirdly they don't have a website so I called but they didn't deliver so I had to go over there. Not the warmest welcome but the biggest shock was the charge for raspberry. I visited 3 Italian ice cream shops this weekend and you were the only one that charged and gave me the least sauce!. So despite your protestations about how good your sauce is, I had better! However, the ice cream was pretty good. So maybe you could reconsider the 20p? While you're at it maybe you could look into the delivery services and start taking cards. I only just had enough cash on me.

I have been visiting the cafe with my parents since i was a toddler, (thats over 30 years now The icecream is still amazing as ever. To tell you the truth i cant pass judgement on the flavoured ones (my husband loves the biscoff I ALWAYS buy the original. If you know something is amazing why bother trying something else.
