Cookies In Bloom - Glenview

I always have a great experience with the cookies from Bloom. They consistently deliver my orders on time, which I truly appreciate. Their punctuality and the consistent quality of their products are commendable. It's their excellent service that keeps me returning.

I purchased a Living Social coupon a while back, but I never managed to use it because the business didn't answer their phone during operating hours and didn't respond to my messages. Their business hours are quite limited, and their cookies are very pricey without the coupon. The voucher has long since expired, leaving me out $15 unless I want to spend it on their overpriced products. Unfortunately, Living Social won't refund my money. I recommend checking out other Yelp reviews (excluding the one that seems suspiciously positive) and steering clear of this business.

Unfortunately, the cookies didn’t arrive on Friday. I called and sent a message but received no response. I tried calling again on Saturday but got no answer. When I followed up on Monday, I was informed that same-day delivery wasn’t possible because they use FedEx, and the Cookies in Bloom location isn’t close to the delivery address. Had I known I was paying nearly $20 in FedEx fees, I could have ordered cookies from California for a cheaper price and still had them arrive on time, instead of spending $75 on a late delivery that missed the occasion altogether. Overall, I felt like no one really cared about my order, which was quite disappointing. In the future, if I need something for a corporate gift, I’ll be looking at other options.

I bought a groupon to use and buy a cookie basket for a Bday gift. I made three phone calls all on different days during business hours and always got an answer machine. I work, so I decide not to leave a message because I was sure they won't call back in the evening. I went to her website and there was a section on e-mail so I did it. two days last and no answer yet on a Thursday I finally tried again someone answered the phone I described what I wanted and offered to pay about my group price when there was another basket I asked for suggestions, and no one was given, so I went with the offer that was 12 cookies and 2 decorated theme cookies. I asked for a racing car and was told if I put the number 23 on the car it would be an extra $5.00? didn't understand since that should have been part of the design I went on a Saturday, around my basket gave my name and the very unfriendly lady on my basket on the table. the basket was handed over to me, no thanks or anything else. It was like self-service. the cookies tasted and looked like shop purchased the decorated cookies were thrown up, not even displayed as the picture shown. the group price was 20.00 for a 50.00 value are you kidding me that this basket was wort 10.00 I take, they were not satisfied with the group response if so they should not have offered a discount this experience was the worst

I was REALLY disappointed with this place today. I called in to use a groupon for my daughter 's birthday party. The value was for a $40.99 basket of a dozen gourmet cookies and two decorated sugar cookies. I was on the extensive website when I called and was quickly told that I could choose the theme of the two cookies that 's the groupon package . I ordered 3 more chocolate chip cookies and was told that each extra cookie would be a dollar more FINE because I was intending on giving each child at the party a gourmet cookie. I was really excited to pick up the cookies, until I was handed the basket--the sugar cookies looked nice, but I was shocked at the assortment of gourmet cookies. Unknown to me, included in the basket were 4 cranberry and 4 oatmeal raisin cookies? Which 4 year olds do you know want to eat those flavors?? I had asked on the phone for chocolate chip, but when I got there she said it would be $5 extra to make them all chocolate chip. Really? All I kept thinking about the whole time is that I could have gotten over 30 cookies at Costco for under 10 dollars, and those are HUGE cookies. I can fit two of these cookies in the palm of my hand. I am still stumped on how this small collection of cookies amounts to $40. I feel jipped and I will not be using these for the party. After reading the reviews on the quality and taste--I am not willing to take that chance. Please save your money...
