Subway - Grantsboro

Very friendly girls working last night. Not understanding the ac not working. Hasnt for a while I don't believe.I would think restaurants would have to have ac to stay open? They had to prop the door open. I felt bad for them. They did not let it bother their work though. Smiled the entire time. If it had been my money I was spending,they would have gotten a good tip from me! I would have closed the shop,gone home and got fired. Food was good,though.

I wasn't able to place an order because they couldn't activate the Subway card I received for Christmas. However, the staff was very kind and went out of their way to assist me.

I'm giving this restaurant a 3-star rating primarily due to the service my family and I received. Melissa, who took our orders, was working alone during her shift. She was incredibly friendly, polite, and attentive. It's disappointing that she had to manage the entire restaurant by herself, handle cleaning, prepare supplies for the morning shift (despite starting her shift with none), and close the register all before being able to go home to her family. The owner of this Subway should be ashamed of how he treats his staff, and he should consider himself fortunate to have hired someone like Melissa, who is the sole reason I am giving a 3-star review.

On Sunday night at 6 PM, I observed one employee making several sandwiches while three others were simply standing around doing nothing. I was overlooked by the employee assisting another customer, and none of the other staff members came behind the counter to take my order. As a result, I left without making a purchase. I suggest hiring employees who are more customer-focused and willing to work.

Khia Ashley are so sweet and so helpful. You can really tell they help each other giving off the best atmosphere! Good food and they are so patient if you are not sure what to get. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
