Dandenong Pavilion

A stylish and delicious experience. as a cheese lover, the flaming saganaki was an obvious choice. my partner and I shared the chicken battle and philly cheese steak, both amazing. certainly it would come back as data.

Last minute decision to eat out for three family members saw us choose Dandenong Pavilion on a Sunday night …. All the inside tables had been booked but they were able to fit us on a table in the outdoor area. I had calamari with...nice aioli sauce as entree followed by a lovely Thai green chicken curry (plenty of everything) and shared a Pav Lovers dessert of the daily specials menu with my wife. Not feeling like entrees (and I suspect saving space for dessert) my wife had the carbonara penne and my daughter had the mixed skewers then the bananarama for dessert. All the meals were generous portions and very enjoyable. With good food, a little alcohol, we ended up staying a while any having a great chat, and we weren’t alone a lot of the tables around us were clearly having a good night out. We’d definitely return another time and make certain we book ahead.

Went there yesterday for hubby's birthday and it was wonderful. The atmosphere was calm and nice. The customer service was perfection. We truly felt welcome and they kept checking if we were happy with the food, wanted to order any more food or drinks. Most importantly the food was amazing. My husband ordered a steak and it's the best steak I have ever tasted. I was satisfied with my garlic prawns order. I didn't disappoint hubby for taking him here for his birthday. A bit pricey but it is worth it. Will sure return.

The venue is good with a bar for drinks before going through to the restaurant. The service was good and the meal off the regular menu was good.They also have a SECRET MENU which really is crazy because everyone knows about it as it's on all these sites you read reviews on and 4 people mentioned before I got to the restaurant. I asked the waitress who laughed as she agreed it wasn't that secret and really only added a couple of burgers to the offering! However she did mention you need to ask for it or she couldn't give it out.Should maybe keep this thriller for a opening week kind of thing!!

We had 16 people, entrees great but 2 $37 ribs were inedible. 1 had no sides, were sent back uneaten. Both refunded. A $40 steak came w/out the veg, came after meal. lumpy mash. Med chicken was terrible and cold. Souvlaki awful. I used to love this place. Always had good food in the past. Very embarrassing as I organised the event. Have given 2 stars as 6 of us enjoyed the food. 5 were satisfied. Such a shame.
