Osteria Italian Restaurant - Greensboro

They brought us rolls, but there was no butter or olive oil to accompany them. Instead, we received a cannellini bean mixture that was awkward to spread on the bread. Were we meant to eat it with a fork on its own? I wasn't sure. I also ordered coffee with cream for dessert and was surprised when I was told they only offered milk. Really? In an upscale restaurant? No cream or half-and-half? I expressed my disbelief and asked the waitress to check with the kitchen, since I knew at least one of the dishes we had ordered contained cream. The waitress seemed to think I was being unreasonable but eventually returned with cream that she claimed she had to convince the chef to provide. Seriously? After that, I felt like I was being treated as a nuisance. I won’t be returning.

The atmosphere, service, and food are all exceptional in this cozy and tranquil setting, complemented by a wonderful selection of fine wines. It's a hidden gem in Greensboro that you definitely shouldn't overlook. This is one of the top spots for lunch and fine dining Italian cuisine in the state!

I haven't visited this restaurant in a while, but my most recent experience was fantastic. The food was consistently outstanding, the service was excellent, and we were greeted with a friendly welcome. This restaurant is undoubtedly one of the top spots in Greensboro.
