Sweet Betty's Bistro - Gresham

I sat down to a pattie melt and it was delicious. They had a pickle beer (Slap and Pickle) that the waitress talked a bit about but I chickend out and got an IPA. While I was drinking my IPA my wife and I were talking about the Pickle Beer and thought it would be worth a try but maybe with a little tomato juice added. When our waitress returned I ordered the Pickle Beer and out of the blue she suggested a little tomato juice added with some Tajin on the rim of the glass so that's what I did. As an IPA drinker I was completely skeptical about a pickle flavored beer but was I surprised. All the beer would not fit in the glass so she brought what was left in the can and I have to say that the raw beer was ok but after adding the tomato juice and Tajin on the rim I would give it a 4.5 out of five. So go for the food and excellent service and if you are feeling a bit adventurous and are if age go for the Slap and Pickle I think you might be pleasantly surprised.

Service was 11/10. So nice to have a happy smiling waitress. Food was OK but breakfast for two for 50 bucks, I think the gravy and chicken fried steak should be better tasting and taste less commercially prepared. Servings were generous. Coffee is what most people consider good these days personally I like dark roast, but its good guality lighter roast. Hashbrowns good. Toast good. Open area with a lot of hard surfaces doesn't make it the coziest or quietest. I like the open kitchen and seeing the food get cooked though.

My absolute favorite brunch spot! About 39 minutes out of my way, so I don't go as often as I would like, but my kiddo I go at least once every couple of weeks. I love that they make his pancakes special by adding chocolate chips. Everybody is so welcoming I adore the inclusive decor and atmosphere!

I love the food here however, I am disappointed in the way some of the food servers dress shortie tops are not appropriate attire for a professional establishment. And some of the rap music is not appropriate . I would not bring my mother.. I hope this review will have impact I would really like to return for the great food.

Super gross. Trashed tables everywhere. No napkins available outside. If you want to eat outside you have to pay and stand while you order at the bar.
