Stevens' - Gurnee

I cannot praise Steven's enough! My family came from out of state to celebrate a special occasion with our adult son at Steven's restaurant. The food was amazing, the service was outstanding, and the staff made our whole family, especially our son, feel welcomed and valued. If we lived nearby, we would definitely be regular customers at Steven's.

The service at this restaurant was outstanding. It was a memorable experience that I will never forget. Fantastic!!

We have never been let down during our visits to Steven's. They have added more tables, but they are not packed together like they were before the pandemic.

Joey is THE BEST. When a restaurant is on the higher end of the price scale, they better deliver on all counts. Well, this establishment went above and beyond. We started off with the calamari. Yum! My husband ordered the 14 oz NY strip with mashed sweet potatoes and was extremely content with the choice. I had one of their salads and their Portobello mushroom quesadilla. Sooo good that I can't wait to go back. I wanted to try the crab brie soup but the waiter was very honest and said it was phenomenal but something to be shared. Next time! Our water glasses were always filled and the staff was courteous from the hostess to the busboys to our waiter. I have high expectations and did not walk away from this place disappointed in the least. The only recommendation I would have is a slight improvement on the chocolate cake. I would give that 3 stars. And, just my opinion, if you are a frequent guest always content but have one less-than-satisfactory experience, tell management before posting neg reviews that can't be taken back.

We love this place. Have the crab bri soup. It's amazing!!
