Llygad Yr Haul - Gwynedd

The service at this restaurant was outstanding and the food was delicious. The staff was very friendly, even during busy times. We would highly recommend this cafe to anyone in search of homemade meals. The desserts were also exceptional.

We came here towards closing time and we were greeted by the lovely owner. We had coffee and tea and some cakes. The whole experience was wonderful. The servers were happy people, the weather was fantastic. On our way out we had a conversation with the owner and that was a delight.

The food was exquisite, with the breakfast being particularly impressive and the sausages cooked to perfection. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.

Ate here 3 times whilst visiting Llanberis- excellent cooked breakfast, paninis, jacket potatoes and Welsh rarebit. Good size potions and decent price- we paid about £11 per person for a main and drink. There is a dog friendly area outside and the lady taking orders loved the dogs and came out with biscuits for them. A really good place for brunch or lunch.

After a visit to Snowdon on the Snowdon Steam Railway, we discovered this little cafe and decided to go in. So glad we did! Wanted to try a Welsh delicacy so opted for the Welsh Rarebit…delicious! My husband had the Welsh beef burger and he wasn’t disappointed either. Bought some cake to take home with us, Apple Cake and Bara Brith…very nice too! Nice friendly staff. Glad we found this little place, in a very quiet Llanberis on a wet day.
