Close by and menu looks good. They have a parking lot behind restaurant but pretty small. I recommend to just skip and park in the plaza lot across the street. The restaurant is quite small as well but quite nice and cozy. Because of the weather we both opt to get flight of soup. So it's a 3 different kind of soup. One soup of the day happens to be some kind of turkey chowder, lobster bisque with super amazing and my fave(generous chunk of real lobster too! and chicken wing soup with a piece of wing on top. I also order chips melt while my friend ordered salad. After the soup I can only nibble on my chips. It was quite good for much and apps to share. I took the rest home and my bf really like it. I definitely won't mind to go back.
We just visited 174 Buffalo and had an amazing experience! We ordered the Brussels sprouts, deviled eggs, lobster bisque, nachos, and fish tacos, and we would rate each dish a perfect 10/10. Our server, Winter, was incredibly friendly and one of the best we've had in quite some time. We highly recommend this place for both the food and the overall experience. We can't wait to return to 174 Buffalo soon!
I really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant. They are in the process of rebranding to 174 Buffalo, but the signs still say Craft Cork. Since we didn't have a reservation, we opted to sit at the bar, where Emmett took great care of us. He was exceptionally friendly and engaging, even though they were busy with a small staff. Our food was served promptly and was absolutely delicious. The fried deviled eggs were particularly outstanding—highly recommend trying them! The nachos were also good. We finished off our meal with tiramisu, which was homemade by one of the chef's mom and was quite delightful. This place has definitely become a new favorite for us, and we look forward to returning!
To start, I had the Brussels sprouts, and they were incredible! I would rate them a perfect 10/10. I would never have thought to prepare them that way, but they were amazing. For my main course, I ordered the steak sandwich. It was tasty, although I felt it could have been trimmed a bit better, as there were some tough, chewy pieces. Nonetheless, I wouldn’t hesitate to order it again! My boyfriend had the burger, which he also enjoyed. I appreciate that they have a specials menu every day, especially since their regular menu is somewhat limited. We will definitely be back! There’s also a charming patio outside that will be perfect for summer dining!
Both sandwiches came with a side of your choice—chips or the potato salad of the week. You could upgrade to fries for an additional $2, but given that the sandwiches were already priced at $14 and $15, it didn't seem worth it. My husband mentioned that the chips had a slight lemon flavor and looked quite tempting, well-seasoned with salt and pepper. I particularly enjoyed my Buffalo potato salad, which featured hot sauce, shredded carrots, celery, and crumbled blue cheese. It had a nice vinegary taste and wasn’t overloaded with mayonnaise. The highlight of our meal was the peanut butter pie with grape ice cream. The peanut butter and cream cheese filling was incredibly smooth and creamy, and it paired beautifully with the tart homemade ice cream. The pie was topped with a fudge drizzle and crushed Reese's Pieces, along with a caramel sauce on the plate. We savored every last bit of it! At $9, it felt reasonable given the quality and unique flavor. Overall, the restaurant had a warm ambiance and offered a creative twist on classic dishes. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, it's worth looking out for deals (like Seize the Deal) or taking advantage of their specials throughout the week.
