Amy's Wok - Hamilton

With some time to kill and food to savour, my wife and I sought out this Chinese delight in Hamilton. Did not take long to see that take out was their specialty with just a few older tables to sit at. The owner Amy more then filled the joint with her pleasant smile and joyful attitude! The food was prepared attentively, plenty of it and not a long wait. We chose to stay and eat in. My wife exclaimed this "was the best chow mein she ever tasted."! The vegetables were fresh and tasty and defined taste with ever bite. The egg rolls were far better than anything I had tried other places and the rice was beyond belief. It's no wonder Amy has received the Readers Choice Awards for several years running now for the best Chinese Food in Hamilton! Great work by Any and she has the pleasant customer service heart that is missing in so many food places today. The prices are very reasonable and she actually should be charging more for her efforts and great flavour!

Loved the value of the Special Family Dinners, especially the Dry Garlic Ribs! Fantastic portion sizes and flavour.

Eat Chinese food from AMY'S WOK several times a month and it is ALWAYS...HOT, FRESH and DELICIOUS!This is a family owned and operated restaurant and you can often find AMY workingin the kitchen, or her husband working taking orders or on delivery.The staff are easy to deal with and very, very attentive to helping you with your choicesfor dinner or snacks......a great way to feed a large group of family or friends for a special occasion or the BIG game!AMY'S WOK is a very busy restaurant that specializes in TAKE OUT, but does offer a few tables for eat-in if required. AMY'S WOK has fast efficient delivery available and accepts MC/VISA and DEBIT by remote. Make sure you tell them you will be paying by credit card or debit so they can bring the remote terminal with them.The drivers are also very, very friendly!

We made our first delivery order from Amy's Wok and couldn't be more pleased. The order came in about 45 minutes from ordering and it was hot and fantastic . The Hot and Sour soup was hearty and tasty. The Pad Thai had chicken, shrimp and all the toppings that you expect but so often are missing from other restaurants. The General Tso was very tasty but because of the delivery the breading wasn't crispy as I like it to be. The Curry Chicken was very good with lots of chicken and green peppers and onion. The Garlic Ribs were meaty and very good. We also ordered the Szechuan Vegetables that had a good variety of veggies and a nice subtle spicy flavour. Over all we were very happy with our order and will definitely be repeat customers. If you are looking for quality this is a place to try!PS. no chops sticks included with the delivery however ... fortune cookies and sauces and crispy noodles are.
