I drove all the way from Dallas to try JC BBQ, and it was absolutely worth the two-hour trip! The food was delicious and had that comforting, home-cooked feel. I ordered the Mississippi pot roast served over potatoes (available only on Thursdays) along with mac and cheese and green beans, while my wife had catfish with baked potatoes and buffalo chicken fries. I couldn't stop snacking on their fries—they were incredibly tasty! The pot roast was perfection: perfectly seasoned, tender, and generously sauced. The homemade potatoes were delicious, the mac and cheese was rich and cheesy, and the green beans were well-seasoned and complemented the meal beautifully. I definitely plan to return to this restaurant and order the same thing. The only downside is that I wish it were closer! Give it a try; you won't regret it!

1. samoan has approved parts! who were, good man, he was faint! they have to mean when they say good home-south kitchens. my 10 months old torn the bark tips with rice and maisbrot. so good that I had to write a review. many thanks for our dinner absolutely excellent meal. I ordered through eats and they were much faster than the estimated time. I come here at least twice a month. again, the plate didn't even make a picture haha.

This place is by far the BEST barbecue and food in Killeen and surrounding cities! I ordered over $500 worth of food for a family funeral and I had never eaten the food here before so I was taking a huge chance but the online reviews were great so I took the chance. When I arrived all the dishes were nicely packed and everything was so piping hot and Scott was literally pulling all the meat right off the grill! All of the guests were amazed of the flavor of each dish. I ordered sausage, chicken, ribs, Mac n cheese, baked beans, cornbread and peach cobbler for 20 people and it could all have easily fed 25-30 people! Everything was delicious!!! I can’t express how pleased I was! I definitely recommend this place and I will be trying all their other dishes too in the future!!!

The portions were generous and certainly justified the price. However, the banana pudding tasted like it came from a box mix. The peach cobbler was excessively sweet, and the crust was overcooked. The potato salad had a strong mustard flavor that was a bit overpowering. On the bright side, the BBQ was absolutely fantastic! The ribs were tender and meaty, and the brisket was moist and tender. The chicken was juicy as well. My husband ordered the all-meat loaded plate, which came with a heap of fries topped with an abundance of meat. I can definitely recommend the BBQ, but that’s about it. By the way, my husband devoured most of his fries before I could snap a picture. We ordered everything through Grubhub.

I ordered the 2 meat combo ribs and brisket plate meats, it had a good smoked flavored taste but as I started to eat the rib it was very hard and dried out This was my first time buying food from this restaurant and I doubt if I will buy there again The potato salad was somewhat salty and to loose . It’s this saying we have the food just melted in my mouth but if it is hard and dried out that’s not going to happen. I gave this restaurant a 3 because the flavor was great but the ribs no!no! no!
