My Sweet Memory - Haymarket

I prefer this MSM store over the one in Townhall solely because of the quiet ambiance. Ordered green tea latte (buy 1, get 1 free) and loved the taste of it. But it was not even hot, although I told the staff "Please make it extra hot" beforehand. Saw different cake designs here and was hoping that they'd taste better. The black forrest and chocolate cheesecake had the look but they tasted like sticky mousse. Really, I think MSM should abolish the cake menu & focus on selling beverages or change their sweet chef/ supplier. How could you charge $8 for that? I'm willing to pay few extra bucks at KOI instead.

The service was not that good. The cake we got was dry and didn't taste nice. The coffee was too sweet for my liking. Not going back. There are better places to try in Chinatown.

Staffs was smiling and quick to take my order. We ordered the baked cheesecake, flat white and matcha milk. Cheesecake is to die for, one of the best baked cheesecake I've had in a while. Coffee and matcha milk was ok.

A quick dessert stop before our show at Capitol theatre. It was pretty quiet when we walked in, so no issues with timing of the cake and drinks. I had their red velvet and my friend ordered the choc pistachio slice which she enjoyed as it wasn't too sweet. I actually preferred hers over mine. I had a peppermint tea with my cake and my friend seemed to enjoy her latte.

This place is the more quiet version of the Town Hall store which is very close by. But I like this place because you can just chill and chat or study (although the music is rather loud). I always get the green tea latte which is on the sweet side but very creamy and delicious.
