Taqueria La Paloma - Houston

The restaurant has the appearance of a hole-in-the-wall from the outside, raising my expectations. However, the broken window and lack of cleanliness were immediately noticeable upon entering. The unwelcoming atmosphere added to the disappointment as I inquired about the food. The food itself was mediocre, nothing extraordinary. There are many other options in the area that I would prefer over returning to this establishment.

This restaurant is as authentic as it gets. It's not your typical Tex-Mex place, which is why my wife and I love it. The service is fantastic and the food is delicious. We now visit this place several times a month since discovering it.

This taqueria serves good, traditional Tex-Mex food at an affordable price. I tried the taco plate and can't wait to go back for the enchiladas. It's not fancy, but the food is delicious.
