Pares Retiro - Ibayo

I went to SM Marilao 's food court and chose to eat at Pares Retiro. I ordered the beef pares mami after being drawn in by the enticing pictures on their menu and the appetizing display on their counter. However, I was extremely disappointed with what I received. The portion size was much smaller than depicted, with very few toppings. The beef was tough and difficult to chew—there was hardly any meat in it, just one tiny, tough piece. I searched for more beef but couldn 't find any. Essentially, I ended up with a bowl of noodle soup with an egg. For over 120 pesos without a drink, it was definitely not worth it. I would have been better off buying Maggi instant Mami instead. To add to the disappointment, the service was also poor. The staff seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than attending to customers. They didn 't even smile at customers, only when talking with their friends. I would advise against spending your money here. Their service is terrible!

The staff was very capable and nice. The food was excellent, nakakabusog. They are very accommodating, even when customers are troublesome. Will visit again!
