The Sparrows Continental Pasta Spätzle

I really wanted to love this place but don't really understand the hype. Food was OK but nothing mind blowing in our opinion, my favourite was the butter and sage gnocchi, simple and intense flavours. Service was good, everyone was very kind and helpful. Liked the ambience and music. Something I really did not like was that apparently when you tip on the card, the money is not distributed equally amongst the staff, but it is handled by the restaurant and goes towards things like funding staff training. I really hope I misunderstood that part. Apparently the legislation is changing in February so this policy will hopefully change. Also, reading some comments on here, I never appreciate the owners being sassy and disrespectful towards customers for leaving negative reviews. A unique food experience for if you're in Manchester! Great food, cozy atmosphere and great service at a good price. I would recommend. It was so so great and mouthwatering! I immediately fall in love with this place. Sooo tasty pasta, tea, lemonade and of cause dessert, so kind and nice manager and waiters! So recommended for others! You need to taste all food and see this cozy atmosphere!
