What a special experience! This setting is beyond words, a castle from the 15th century which now hosts a museum, hotel and restaurant. You can choose from a land, sea or combination 6 course set menu. They are very accommodating of dietary restrictions and substitutions. We are staying at the Albergo do Monastero in the same castle and went for dinner on our first night! The experience was excellent! The food, the service, their own wine label, and don't forget the view! Highly recommended for a special occasion!

Here we have a terrace cafe which is one of two at Castello Aragonese. This one offers sea and mountain views looking directly at the island. There is plenty of outdoor seating available; otherwise under a canopy or umbrella. It's lovely! Their menu is short, but for the means of relaxing and enjoying the views, it suffices. They have their own gardens on site so their ingredients are fresh. How about rosemary out of the planter? Love the smell and flavor. I enjoyed a light lunch with Bruschetta Fagioli. My caffeine fix was later in the day, however well taken. Choose a regular table or a lounge setting. Pick from a shaded area or soak up some vitamin D in the sun. Anyway you want, relax and love the moment!

Fantastic View (It's in the Castle) Fantastic Food (They grow their own vegetables) We had dinner, the night Boticelli was singing in Ischia and the music wafted up to us on our castle terrace. Very tantalizing appetizer from the Chef. Octopus salad was great and all vegetable selections were fresh and very tasty. I actually had the Rabbit and this was one of the better presentations of all the rabbit I had in Ischia. Pet-friendly
