Mürver - Istanbul

This rooftop restaurant has gorgeous views especially at sunset! We went there for bites and drinks so we sat at the bar and ordered some appetizers which were great but not really worth all the hype around this restaurant. It was actually recommended to us by locals so I’m assuming their main dishes are amazing. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in the area

A restaurant with good view and solid food. We particularly enjoyed the grilled peaches, and the vegetable main course. The dessert was mediocre. Price is a bit high for Istanbul $100 for two). Worth a casual meal if you are in the area, but not a special visit.

Fantastic spot with amazing views and great food! Highly recommend the Pide (of which we had several! , the artichokes, the asparagus the usual fish and lamb options.

My partner and I had a fantastic evening at Murver. The views were incredible, and so was the service. They were attentive, informative and friendly. The octopus was the best I’ve ever had. The lamb was good, however I would try something else next time. It was a unique dish (picture attached). $170 USD for 2 apps, 2 mains, a bottle of wine a tip, noting we ordered dishes that were more on the expensive side.

Have had the pleasure of dining here over the years. The chef has won awards and the restaurant has made it into the Michelin guide. The bar area next to the terrace is trendy with happening coctails. There is indoor and terrace seating, and the space all around is intimate. The restaurant is placed above the Novotel, Karakoy. The food is imaginative with modern takes on traditional Turkish food. The chef varies the menu with different ingredients of the season. Overall a great experience, with great views of the old city and the Bosphorus.
