Cantina Zapata - Jerez de la Frontera

Space looks beautiful and is not expensive. but the food we had was bad. Cold food on hot plates, little taste, no shrimp, ham instead of pork, felt more like a microwave dinner than restaurant. I didn't eat mine, I wished a refund. Dirty glasses and the margarita was salty not only the rim of the glass)

It has very little Mexican food, there are hamburgers, sandwiches and other things that are far from what you expect in a Mexican cantina. The food is quite average, in our case they even burned some nachos (the worst nachos I have ever tried) and the Quesadillas as you can see on the photo. The service is very slow and somewhat rude... In general, as a restaurant it is very disappointing and not recommended at all!!

The idea is good and it has good ingredients, but the menu is rare and there are many mixed things and it is difficult to find what you want. There are delicious things like nachos with meat or flotta and things that lack Mexican taste like nachos with guacamole or the special burrito. It is a shame that not many people go what I think is what prevents him from improving. The atmosphere is good and the service too. For my taste it is missing that plus a Mexican note and a more compact menu, better, less variety to have, but quality to go overboard.

It is the second time I go. The first time it took more than 45 minutes to serve us what we had ordered. On the second occasion, they had no chicken, so all the chicken dishes were not available. We were informed once the drinks were served. The food we ordered was of a good quality and well prepared and presented.
