Talk about some serious Kansas City bbq. This was my first stop in KC. Started with the Pork Belly appetizer, it will melt in your mouth. You must try the burnt ends on the certified Angus beef brisket plate. It’s the reason to come here. Added some white beans cassoulet and cucumber onion salad. Ended the night with the molten chocolate cake. Overall a pretty delicious meal with extremely friendly staff the waiter had great recommendations.
Today, our server was Mattie, and she was excellent. Very cheerful, friendly, and well-informed. This experience was at the College and Antioch location.
Good service. Food was mediocre.brisket was supper moist with one choice of bbq sauce. The baked beans, some beans were cooked and some were still quite undercooked. Even if the beans were cooked, it was still nothing to write home about. Two salad dressings. Get the ranch if you like a sweet and sour flavor at the same time. Burnt ends were not quite burnt. If you like crispy burnt ends, then this is not the place for you. They were moist, but not even close to having a char.
The food was amazing, I am definitely eating here next time I am in town.
