Baron - Karlstad

My husband and I spent the day in Karlstad yesterday and decided to have dinner at this restaurant because it was the top-rated in town. We arrived around 7pm and were seated right away. Our waitress was friendly and took our drink and food orders promptly. The food arrived quickly and was tasty, but the portions were very small. Our waitress advised us to order four dishes each, but even then, we were still hungry at the end of our meal. The dessert servings were also minuscule. We had expected the food to be better, but it was just average in our opinion.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and expertly prepared. There is a wide variety of flavors to choose from, ensuring that there is something to suit every palate. The ambiance is lovely and the staff is friendly and attentive.

We checked the reviews on Tripadvisor (as usual) and we were not disappointed the food was very good Tapas with a Swedish/Asian influence so whatever you do, try something different, like Sashimi de carne, Saquitos de gambas or Taco de pescado. The inside of the main restaurant has a high domed ceiling which adds to the atmosphere

My husband paid for his drink and want to leave the place. He had been stopped by the guard, they said that he didn’t pay for his drink. He needed to show them all. They didn’t say sorry, just “you can go”. F… unfriendly. Never ever go there. This story I will tell!
