Il Ristorante Da Cosimo - Kiel

Leider kann ich keine der positiven Bewertungen bestätigen. Wir waren zu viert, um einen Geburtstag zu feiern. Das Essen war bei allen fad und ohne Raffinesse. Das Carpaccio war geschmacklos, das Vitello tonnato in Mayonnaise ertränkt. Die Nudeln schwammen in einer langweiligen Sauce, das Fleisch war zäh und selbst die Pizza hatte keinen Geschmack. Bei acht verschiedenen Gerichten war nicht eines dabei, das schmackhaft war. Das Personal war bemüht, aber man hätte erwarten können, dass die Küche sich um unzufriedene Gäste kümmert. Schade.

Pizza Margherita: Hat absolut nichts mit dem Original zu tun. Harte Kruste, kein fluffiger Rand, Tomatensauce mit Oregano, dick mit fettigem Käse (Gouda?) bedeckt. Kein Mozzarella oder Fior di Latte, kein Basilikum, kein Olivenöl! Die 12,50 € kann man sich sparen.

Alles war sehr gut. Es war unser erster Besuch. Sowohl die Pizzen als auch die Pasta waren schmackhaft und großzügig portioniert. Der Service war zurückhaltend und aufmerksam. Am Ende hatten wir die Gelegenheit, den Inhaber persönlich kennenzulernen. Man konnte spüren, mit welchem Engagement er sich um das Wohl seiner Gäste kümmerte.

We had a nice dinner experience of 14 people. the general atmosphere was great and the service was excellent. especially the waitress. the food proportions were ok. but I had better Italian food experience in the world. the pizza was regural. but what was impressive the Choco ice cream with cacao...a...must try...yummmmy

On Easter Sunday evening cosimo was packed. the atmosphere was lively and friendly. we were 5 people, when starter 2 of us ordered an antipasto nostrano to share another tomaten soup. the suppe was in order, but the mixed antipasto was very disappointing: a few slices of ham (a bit too thick cut for parma), some Italian salami, and some that I would define american style pfefferoni', a few olives and a few shaves of parmesan cheese for 12.40. waaay overpriced! then we ordered 3 pizzas (mammaleone in my case, which was a special picture, with garnel, surgeons, pine nuts and cherry tomatoes), 1 thunfisch and a steak in pizzaiola sauce. all the main courses were nice, but nothing was out. on the other side the service was fast despite the whole house and our waitress was absolutely beautiful, and with an excellent sense of humor. we had a good night, but it probably won't be my favorite Italian in kiel.
