Its a beautiful place , it's was Dutch army rest house in war time Dutch army was staying here . Situated on a lake side. It's was a great fun to stay there.

We had an absolutely amazing weekend stay at this beautiful castle! The castle rooms are newly renovated and really stunning, food is outstanding and the gardens lovely! The castle is located by a lake where you can swim and also, during the winter, spend time in a hot tub on the lakeshore. Service also very good. This place has a wonderful ambience, while at the same time, you feel like Royalty. I highly recommend a visit to Bäckaskog it's a real treat in the most beautiful surroundings.
