Bj's Brewhouse - Lafayette

Destiny was a terrible server, unfriendly and has not filled our drinks once. Inattentively I ordered my burger to be rare medium and it came extremely over boiled and my frits under done. Now she doesn't cook food, but she rolled her eyes on my mother directly on her face. The manager was nicely asked what happened to our meal after I explained what was going on. It hates being this guy, but we go here all the time and have consistently good experiences. Except on a Monday in a slow afternoon.

I ordered a veggie pizza which was good but could have been better. They could have used more veggies and better toppings.

The only reason I even gave 3 stars is entirely because of Elizabeth C., our server, who despite all the odds stacked against her working at this location, managed to be a great server. To start, we came in as a party of 10 (5 of which were children and a baby) not unusually large for a chain restaurant like this, but the hostess seemed shocked that we were there. She told us it was standard procedure to get a manager for large parties but the manager walked over and seemed completely unaware of why we were supposed to talk to him and asked us what can I do for you? They finally figured out that despite being the only people at the hosts stand or in the waiting area, and with only about a 35% full restaurant, that they needed us to wait 15 minutes to be sat until another large party finished their meal apparently only 1 large party at a time is allowed at this location. We were sat and Elizabeth handled us as best she could, with seemingly zero support from the back end, who took well over an hour to get our food out. Just wanted to write a review so that larger parties can be aware that this location can not handle you and to be ready for a long wait from start to finish if you do decide to come here.

Good food, good service. Only ding on cleanliness of table and restrooms. Apps night, got the Brussels too.

Super cool atmosphere, lots of fun beers to try. The margarita flight is very yum. Our service was incredibly slow. We weren't particularly in a hurry or anything, but slow.
