Francesca's Intimo - Lake Forest

Chris, Our server was one of the best we’ve ever dined with. The food is always exquisite.

I've been doing Francescas Intimo for a long time. It's safe to say the place is past its prime. A tired menu, average to below average food, and a now costly for what you get. It used to be fairly priced and had a much better-changing menu along with above-average food. Good to see other people giving up on as well since it was half full on Friday night at 7 PM. Used to be packed all the time, people are talking with their legs and going elsewhere. Disappointing to see a good place turned bad.

Disappointing We have eaten here before and looked forward to returning. The food was average The service!! WOW I have never felt like I was being rushed through a meal so quickly. I guess the wait service didn't appreciate patrons that don't order drinks.

We have been Francesca's customers for a long time and it is generally solid. We had eaten here about 3 weeks ago and had a lovely dinner. Tonight though was disappointing on multiple levels. It took a VERY long time to be served our dinner (45 minutes to an hour after we ordered). No update on when it would be served, the delay nothing. When we finally made a comment to our server, he said our food would be out soon. He then returned to share that my husband's dinner had accidentally been given to someone else, hence the long wait. I asked then if he could at least bring my son's dinner out then. The server then returned with 3 of the 4 dishes. 2 of those dishes were chicken funghi, which is my go to dish. Unusually, the chicken portion was very small and there was virtually no spinach. My husband's dish came 5 10 minutes later. Dessert came in less than 5 minutes. No apologies for the delay, nothing. For the several hundred dollars that the meal cost, there are lots of equally good Italian places to eat, not sure that I would land here again for a while.

Our food came very late. We waited for an hour and 15 min. The salad had little dressing. We received more but it was basically oil. The waiter told us he had no idea what was going on. No apology. My husband spoke to the manager. Nothing. She was checking. After we paid our bill we spoke to the manager. She took $80. Off our bill. Our guests won't return. Poorly handled.
