Kooben Cafe Frosting Cupcakery

I have regularly gone to Kooben Cafe approx. once per week for the past two years. Today I was in the area and desperately needed to use the washroom, so I stopped in to quickly go. The washroom was locked and the employee said that I wasn't able to use the washroom as I wasn't a customer. After explaining that I was a regular customer and that I just really needed to use the washroom she stated that I must buy something or wouldn't be allowed to have the key. I quickly bought a cookie that I didn't want. I hope the 3$ that I spent was worth it. Absolutely horrible customer service and an awful way to treat someone who regularly spends money in your cafe. I will not be coming back and would recommend others to do the same. Edited to add: the owner was also present and did not speak up or recognize that a reputable customer just really needed to use the washroom.

This place is super cute on the inside. Outside needs a little love but it's quiet and well lit and I'll definitely be back. Love that they are a part of community events too like Fork Finger. You get the sense they really believe in the heart of small business community. One more star when the outside gets that clean up. ?*Add on: I was referring to the awning outside. Could be wrong but thought that was the businesses responsibility. I do hear you about landlords though. That can be tricky.

You MUST TRY their sourdough focaccia. It's extraordinary! Ricardo and his wife are committed to great quality food and superb service. Lots of seating and comfortable energy.This location was once cupcakery Frostings. It's now refined. They still have cupcakes but they are better quality!

Was looking for some great cupcakes for birthday celebration. Local FB group recommendations from a few people mentioned Kooben Cafe. They did not disappoint, amazing, not too sweet, very tasty. They were a big hit. Try these guys out.

Great Coffee, quiet atmosphere is good for coffee meetings and chats, friendly staff and a nice vibe. Usually easy parking in the area. Enjoyed it! Didn't try the food, but sure looked delicious.
