Waitress Serah was terrible! Speaking to customers as if she owns the restaurant and risking the business being reviewed just like this one is not an employee the restaurant should have on their staff! We went fishing and came here to celebrate our uncle. As we were looking at the menu we asked about waitress a few questions. She didn’t know much if anything. Her English was also broken so we didn’t understand her a few times and she acted like she didn’t want to repeat things… We ignored that and gave her grace that she maybe new. The food was really good but her customer services wasn’t good. We asked for separate checks and we know that can be a waitress nightmare but it’s 2024 so it can be done without an obvious attitude. We were paying for our meal and for taking our uncle out he was going to take care of the tip. She brought the checks and the first check after running it said $0 tip. Again, we already discussed who was leaving a tip!! The waitress said “ was the service bad because you didn’t leave a tip” we were all so shocked! We explained to her but also asked her why would she think that was okay to ask us when she hasn’t event collected all the bills. It was beyond ruined! Her attitude wasn’t good and now we see why. A table full of black people she treated us exactly how she felt with no filter. One person gave her cash and $3 was left over..she was going to give her more but then said “what am I going to do with that”. For the two people that did leave a tip we should have called back and asked for that money back! Another person in our party , decided not to leave a tip after her foolishness. She then told them “next time don’t come, back, next time stay home” it’s very upsetting and frustrating to be treated that way! Money was even taken out the atm to have cash to tip but her attitude was so nasty she didn’t deserve anything after that! Very sad to be treat that way! It was very embarrassing and distasteful for an employee to act that way and I’m 100% sure if we weren’t black she wouldn’t have acted the way she did! She ruined a great afternoon!

One of my favorite restaurants in Lewes! My favorite meal is fish and chips here. And I absolutely love their drinks.

Very friendly, great food and the atmosphereis awsome. We continue to come back.

We were unsure what it would be like since it was hot and we had a 45 minute wait to eat inside. We opted to eat outside in the screened-in dining area instead and we were pleasantly surprised with the breeze in the area. The fish and chips as well as as the fried portabella mushrooms were a highlight.
