Old City Prime - Lima

Our first visit to the restaurant was fantastic, and it certainly won't be our last. The dinner was not only delicious, but the service was excellent as well. I had the chocolate martini, which was very good, while my husband enjoyed the king crab. I opted for the prime rib, and both dishes were delightful. We wrapped up our evening with the amazing Big Band, Big Red!

Without a doubt, this was the best dining experience my husband and I have ever had. The food was exceptional, the drinks were expertly crafted, and the staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. We will definitely be returning!

I had an amazing meal there on Saturday and absolutely loved the atmosphere! The bar is fantastic for a pre-drink, and the bartenders are wonderful! Our waiter, Scott, made our evening truly spectacular. The service was excellent, but what really stood out was his incredible singing voice! The entertainment upstairs was excellent, creating such a fun vibe that we really enjoyed with the group. John, the owner, also stopped by to chat, which added to the enjoyment of the evening. This restaurant is definitely at the top of our list for places to go in the area! We will definitely be back!

We had dinner at the bar since the restaurant was full and we couldn't get a reservation during our visit. Nicole and Jordan truly made the experience exceptional. The drinks and food were comparable to those from any upscale steakhouse we've dined at, and the atmosphere was distinctive—similar to a speakeasy, as another reviewer mentioned. We will definitely return!

I really wish I could give OC Prime a rating of 4 stars, but their failure to honor our reservation deserves just 1 star. I made a reservation for four people at 7:30 a week in advance. We arrived at 7, checked in with the host, and sat at the bar for a cocktail. I confirmed our reservation with the host again when the whole party arrived around 7:20, and I checked in once more at 7:40 and 8:00. Thankfully, the bartender stepped in and served us at the bar, but the rude host who was supposed to seat us was no help whatsoever. When I last inquired with the host, he claimed he had called my name twice, which was a blatant lie. Our party was sitting just 15 feet away from the host station at the bar, and we made eye contact every time he walked by. I regret not being more assertive in this situation. The food was decent, but the wine prices were marked up by 300%.
