Piedmont Bistro by Venue - Lincoln

This restaurant was exemplary in their care of our table of fourThe kitchen had a party of thirty right in front of our order.

It's a good place and I would go back, but it wasn't the amazing culinary experience I was expecting. We started with the cheddar cheese board.

I really want to like this place because of the location, patio and the fact that it's locally owned but it sucks and I don't think I'll ever give them

Exceptional food in an authentic, non-demanding environment. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful, which added to the great experience. For bread lovers, there are 3 different breads, all of which are made there and are all wonderful. I stop on the way out of town to get bread and take it home to friends. My salad was fabulous and the vodka chicken pasta (a specialty) was cooked perfectly with a wonderful sauce. The specials change with the seasons. Desserts are all made there and everyone looked great. We share the ice cream on Sunday with homemade caramelized marshmallows and chocolate ganache. It was wonderful. You can share it with 4 people as it is very large. We will definitely have dinner here again when we return to Mayo and Golf.

Excellent food and service with a feel for local products. Cakes are incredible - especially nice for a special occasion.
