Savory Kitchen Catering - Little Elm

Savory Kitchen catered lunch at Vistra today and myyyy goodness are these some talented people cooking and serving! I tried the roasted chicken with gravy, broccoli and collard greens. All were absolutely incredible, i'm not even a fan of collard greens from most places but after today's meal i am a true believer in their goodness, well....maybe only from Savory : I hope they come back soon!! The food here is really good! We came in Christmas Eve for lunch were seated quickly. However it did take a while to be served. I’m guessing the kitchen was backed up due to all of the to go orders. The drinks were really good. My hubby had two top shelf margaritas but they clearly changed the tequila in the 2nd one. My daughter had a mimosa the mango margarita. The mango margarita was really sweet but strong. Beware! I had a few mimosas that were pretty cool. We ordered the lemon pepper wings which were salty but good. I had the chicken waffles. No complaints. The brisket nachos were really good! The brisket had a great flavor. My only complaint is that my husband’s brisket baked potato was a bit skimpy the potato was hard in some places. Also I placed a to-go order that sat on the counter for 15-20 min before the waitress brought it over. Not too mention my to-go brisket fries were extremely salty. Good but salty. Overall it was a decent experience. We will give them another chance when we come back to Little Elm. Chef D is killing it, the brisket breakfast burrito is excellent. All the food we had was excellent. We will be back. A clean plate is the best compliment I can give. Our service was also fantastic. Thanks Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Changing our review from our original experience. We had ordered Uber Eats and the order was wrong so I couldn't eat it due to it not being kosher. My wife however kept raving about how great her burger was so we went back and sat in house this time. It was the best burger I've had in the DFW area! and believe me we tried a lot. We had our organization holiday gala at Savory Kitchen. It was my first time at the restaurant. It was awesome! The atmosphere was great, service was fantastic, the food was delicious!!!!!!
