John Holly's Asian Bistro - Lone Tree

Service was good and food was great. Started with a pork spring roll and a lobster spring roll and a spicy tuna roll. We had a Sapporo beer. Shrimp and scallop Kung Pao with beef and chicken fried rice. The food was delicious but my only complaint was the shrimp and scallop Kung Pao was all vegetables. Almost no shrimp or scallop. I like the food from this place and I come and order food from here quite often as it’s in my neck of the woods. However, once, I ordered a take out, and I had to wait for my food, so I sat at a table, and this guy sent me away, “Hey, don’t sit here. This is only for guests.” I said, “I’m also a guest.” And he said, “No, this is only for a dine-in guest.” If the place was crowded and there was a line, I would’ve understood. But the space was empty. And I’d paid a quite high tip for my order, more than 20 percent. Seriously? How can he be so rude to a paying guest? What a bad customer service.

This review is specifically about delivery. I 've been getting great food delivered from them for over 7 years and within the last 2 months, I 've called several times to place a delivery order and they tell me they don 't deliver and have no option to make an order a delivery in their point of sale system. On the website under directions and hours it says Hours Delivery Information We deliver within 5 miles w/ $20 minimum order Just got off the phone for a 3rd time trying to put in a delivery order and they say they don 't do delivery from the Lone Tree location anymore. Yet other people on here within the last month have left reviews about their delivery service. What gives? I know I 'm calling the right number that 's been in my phone for years for this location.
