Firehouse Subs Texas Tech - Lubbock

I normally love Firehouse, but was very frustrated and upset when I went today. I ordered a small Engineer, and they only put lettuce, tomato, and onions on my sandwich I even went back to check my order to see if I somehow managed to say I didn?t wantturkey or mushrooms. I didn?t. It was such a sad, overpriced sandwich and a total waste of money. I don?t see how such animportant part of a sandwich is somehow forgotten? I would?ve gone back to fix it, but I was only off for lunch for 30 minutesand had to go back to work. It?s really upsetting when you?re hungry and ready to eat.

Its a blah sandwich, nothing special. Seemed a little expensive for what you get. Also the meat was steamed so its very watery. Maybe that's what some people like, but I expected better for a big chain. Not sure how they got so big with asandwich like that.

We enjoyed a wonderful meal, and the Coke Freestyle machine added a fun touch to our experience.

The restaurant is very nice and clean. We placed our curbside sandwich order 30 minutes in advance for a specific time, and it was ready when we arrived! However, the small sandwiches are significantly smaller than I expected; they are more like kid-sized portions (approximately 3 inches). For a sandwich closer to 9 inches, I would recommend ordering a medium. The restrooms were also clean.
