Delosa's Pizza - Madeira Beach

Authentic NY style pizza. We've tried lots of different things on the menu and have always liked all of them. The philly cheese steak was one of the best in the area. You can get the pizza either by the slice or a whole pie. If you're near John's Passdon't skip trying this place.

When considering the location, I assumed that they survived on tourists for income. I was wrong. The reason this place has been in business so long is because they survive on the quality of their products and outstanding service. I bring people here fromout of town when I have visitors that want to see the boardwalk or its attractions. While there are plenty of great restaurantsin the area, this is a place that you can get out of the heat for a while, have a great meal,and be on your way. No waiting forthe check, or servers. The food is impeccably true to NY style pizza. As great as the pizza is, I'd recommend the PhillyCheesesteak.

They charged $73 for 2 lg and 1 med pep pizza (pickup). The larges had 3 toppings and 5 toppings. Instead of offering a better option for toppings they charged 2.50/topping and when questioned about it said yea thats right that's what we charge. When mymom picked the pizza up she questioned it again to make sure a delivery charge wasnt applied and the manager said well sheshould have ordered a meat and supreme instead and substituted and it wouldn't have been as much. So why wasn't it adjusted atthe time? Instead we were still charged the $73 and they looked like this. The dough wasn't even completely done. The onlyreason we ordered from there was because everyone else closed at 9. I feel like they are screwing people over knowing that. Notcool at all.

DeLosa's is a great place to try if you're craving a good stromboli or calzone! The stromboli was loaded with toppings, and the calzone with cheese. This was my first time getting a calzone with ricotta in it, which was interesting! The garlic knots weresoaked in butter and garlic, which was perfect exactly what you want if you're going to eat a garlic knot. The red sauce wasdefinitely delicious. Too good, you could say, given the severe heartburn I got after eating it. Those with acid reflux, bewareand take some extra antacids for this experience. ???? We didn't eat in the restaurant this time, but our online ordering andpickup experience was good! I recommend a driver and a second person to go into the restaurant for the order. If there was aspot reserved for pickup orders, we didn't see it and John's Pass is always busy.

Great little pizza place in a great location at Johns Pass. Food is a solid 4/5. Pizza dough is made fresh daily and is the best!
